Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase
GROUP OF ENZYMES
Fructose bisphosphate aldolase; Aldehyde lyases; Aldolase; EC 4.1.2.13; D-fructose-1,6-bisphosphate D-glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate-lyase (glycerone-phosphate-forming); Aldolases
Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase (), often just aldolase, is an enzyme catalyzing a reversible reaction that splits the aldol, fructose 1,6-bisphosphate, into the triose phosphates dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP) and glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P). Aldolase can also produce DHAP from other (3S,4R)-ketose 1-phosphates such as fructose 1-phosphate and sedoheptulose 1,7-bisphosphate.
Aldolase B
  • The aldol cleavage of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate by aldolase b demonstrates the different reaction products, dihydroxyacetone phosphate and glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate.
MAMMALIAN PROTEIN FOUND IN HOMO SAPIENS
Aldolase-B; ALDOB; ALDOB (gene)
Aldolase B also known as fructose-bisphosphate aldolase B or liver-type aldolase is one of three isoenzymes (A, B, and C) of the class I fructose 1,6-bisphosphate aldolase enzyme (EC 4.1.
(Ribulose-bisphosphate carboxylase)-lysine N-methyltransferase
CLASS OF ENZYMES
(ribulose-bisphosphate carboxylase)-lysine N-methyltransferase; EC 2.1.1.127; S-adenozil-L-metionin:(3-phospho-D-glycerate-carboxy-lyase (dimerizing))-lysine N6-methyltransferase
In enzymology, a [ribulose-bisphosphate carboxylase]-lysine N-methyltransferase () is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction
